The Great American Pause

Friends, wow. When I decided to revive my dating blog this year, it was mostly a personal mission to reclaim my voice and heal from a not-so-ideal relationship. I figured a few close friends might take an interest, but I never expected thousands of reads, fans (some of them strangers!), and so many encouraging words from the most brilliant people I know. After years of a writing dry spell, I feel like a renewed version of myself—and I have you to thank for it.

Now, you’re probably wondering: where did the blog post updates go? Well, the main reason for the pause is that I’m focusing on a larger writing project. It’s both terrifying and exhilarating, but it feels like another step toward fulfilling the big dreams I once mapped out for myself as a little girl.

I know this isn’t exactly what those of you who’ve been following along might want to hear, but I promise there’s more to come. That means more colorful characters and a deeper, more intimate journey to see if this girl can finally conquer her own dragons.

I can’t wait to update you all when the time is right, but for now, I just want to say thank you again—for reminding me why I love writing and for joining me on this ride.
